This position will be responsible for assisting in the execution of the day-to-day internal media management and production. This position will be primarily conducted in the office managing the, with a heavy focus on three types of dealing with media; Shooting and recording of B Roll, editing of promo videos and highlight reels, and file organization and processing to deliver game footage to customers. This position will also be responsible for on-site management of video crews.



Idea candidates must excel at completing assigned tasks in a timely manner and should demonstrate exceptional communication skills. Individuals will look to be proactive in their daily tasks as well as use the opportunity to learn new techniques in the industry. This is a position best suited for those who define themselves as a self-motived, critical thinker with the ability to accomplish numerous tasks at once and problem solve on the fly. You will need to be a multitasker who can operate without being micromanaged.



Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Compression, processing, and delivery of game film

    • Backup and organize thousands of video files brought in from video crews weekly. 

    • Maintain SD cards, hard drives, NAS drives, and Amazon S3 buckets

    • Merge multiple files into one master copy of each game while shrinking file size, changing codecs, removing audio, and adding watermarks for delivery to customers

  • Recording B Roll

    • Shoot b-roll at various tournaments and sports programs nationwide

    • Instruct, train, and organize b-roll shot by other camera operators

    • Staff and hire freelancers to shoot video according to a provided shot list at events NLV staff can not attend.

  • Editing

    • Cut up :30-:90 promotional recap videos from tournaments NLV records

    • Create content for social media

    • Edit athlete recruiting highlight reels 


Event Supervisory Responsibility:

This position is responsible for the supervision and management of videographers on location at events. This duty often requires filling in as a crew camera operator on the fly. Majority of the events occur on weekends and take place majority of the weekends during the summer.


Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time, seasonal position. Evening and weekend work is mandatory

as job duties demand. Must be available every weekend during the internship period.Office operating hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with one full compensation day off per week if the previous weekend is worked.



This position requires frequent travel during event seasons. Most travel is outside the local area and overnight. Must have a valid driver's license and the comfortability with traveling long distances
